Acceptable Use Policy

Radahost is committed to providing secure, reliable, high-quality hosting, web design and digital services. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using them. By using any Radahost service, you agree to comply with it.

Last updated: July 2026

Section 01

Prohibited uses

You may not use Radahost services for any of the following:

Illegal activities
Hosting, transmitting or promoting content that violates any law, regulation or governmental order.
Malicious software
Uploading, distributing or creating viruses, malware, spyware or any harmful code.
Spam & unsolicited communications
Sending bulk unsolicited email (spam), SMS or other unwanted communications.
Infringing content
Hosting or distributing content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
Adult content
Hosting pornography or sexually explicit material, unless expressly approved by us in writing.
Resource abuse
Using excessive server resources (CPU, RAM, bandwidth) in a way that affects other clients.
Hacking & exploits
Attempting unauthorised access to Radahost systems, networks or other client accounts.
Fraudulent or deceptive activity
Engaging in scams, phishing, impersonation or other misleading practices.

Section 02

Client responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the security of your hosting account, including passwords, applications and uploaded files.
  • You must keep your website software (WordPress, plugins, themes and similar) updated in order to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • You must ensure your content and activities comply with Kenyan law and applicable international regulations.

Section 03

Resource usage

To ensure fair use across all clients:

  • Shared hosting accounts may not use more than their allocated resources.
  • Any excessive use that affects server stability may result in suspension or a request to upgrade.
  • Scripts that overload servers — for example heavy cron jobs or automated bots — are not permitted.

If you consistently need more resources, VPS hosting gives you dedicated CPU and RAM instead.

Section 04

Enforcement & suspension

Radahost reserves the right to:

  • Monitor server activity to ensure compliance with this AUP.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, without prior notice.
  • Report illegal activity to the relevant authorities where necessary.

Suspension or termination under this policy may result in permanent loss of data. See our Terms & Conditions.

Section 05

Modifications

Radahost may update this AUP at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised policy.
